CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Sunday School

Takes place year round on Sunday mornings for elementary and preschool age children from 9:15 to 10:15 am. Nursery care for children two and younger is also available during this time.

Faithful Readers

 Elementary age children participate in our Wednesday after-school program from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30. Friends are welcomed from more than 6 area public schools, transportation can be arranged for children of working parents.

Children’s Music Ministry

Children meet to practice singing on a weekly basis and sing in worship frequently. Our director Sandra Miller, is well known in the area as a children’s choir specialist.

Ministry and Mission

M&M Events are monthly actMties designed for children and their families. Typically we meet on Friday nights, enjoying a “kid friendly” dinner and work on a local mission project.

Vacation Bible School

 Is one of the highlights of Calvin’s summer! Children and their friends from Tigard and many surrounding towns participate in this half day program. Bible stories and actMties help children experience the love of God in action.

Camp Tilikum

 We kick off our summer with 2 weeks at George Fox’s Camp Tilikum. This full day camp program is designed for elementary students K-6. We pile on the CaMn Bus early in the morning for the trip into the Newberg countryside.
