Children's Ministry

The children at Calvin Presbyterian are blessed with an active Children's Ministry committee and a group of teachers dedicated to teaching the word of God to these young people. Here at Calvin, ages 3 through 5th grade, start out in sanctuary with their parents and then after the "Time of Discovery" they are dismissed to their classrooms. Two years ago we started using the new Presbyterian curriculum, We Believe. The children have a Bible story and also knowledge of why we are Presbyterians. We have a new Sunday School wing and are anxious to provide a classroom for each grade as our program expands.

Calvin provides nursery care during all worship services for ages 2 and younger. Our nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment with trained staff and volunteers. Wednesday night at Calvin provides an opportunity for the family to eat dinner together and then have the adults go to a class and the children, K through 5th grade, go to Kids Club. Children younger than kindergarten are invited to the nursery.
