Katy Ailstock 503-639-3273 |
Katy Ailstock has been serving in Presbyterian churches with her husband the Rev. John Ailstock for the past 21 years. Born and raised southern Indiana, Katy attended Hanover College and graduated from Indiana University with a teaching degree in theatre and speech. After graduation she moved to Charleston, South Carolina and has since lived in Louisville, New Orleans and the Maryland-Pennsylvania area. In 2004 the Ailstock Family followed the Lord’s calling west…all the way across the country, today they couldn’t be happier to serve God anywhere but in the great state of Oregon! Katy was given the opportunity to teach a Vacation Bible School class at her childhood church, First Presbyterian, Bedford, IN, when she was just a 6th grade student. She has been leading children in learning about God’s love and grace ever since. She enjoys helping children, parents and adult volunteers build their relationships with God by learning more about Jesus and praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in all that they do. Katy is thrilled to be serving God at Calvin Presbyterian Church and hopes she will soon to be connected with you and your child through Sunday School, and the many children's opportunities at Calvin |

Ryan has a very laid back personality with a strong passion for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. He considers himself a native Portlander through he was born a few miles to the south in California. Ryan graduated college from Portland State University and has been involved in Youth Ministry for about 10 years. Ryan also has about 3 years of experience working with InterVarsity campus fellowship at the PSU campus working directly with college students leading various bible studies. On a personal side, Ryan has been married to Tricia for 7 years and together they have 3 children: Nick, Micah, and Finley. When he isn’t at church, he is with his own kids. He used to be involved in extreme sports such as skydiving, motorcycling, and snowboarding, but has tamed his lifestyle down quite a bit to make room for the more important things in life (family and sleep).
His likes Apple computers, Crocs, and video games. He doesn’t like people who aren’t genuine or people don’t have an interest in learning more about what life has to teach them. |
